Applying for Demolition Permit

Demolition

An application for a demolition permit can be submitted to the City for approval by following the steps below.

  1. An application form (BA5) is completed and signed by the applicant, builder and owner.
  2. The Application form along with a plans and documents for the proposed demolition is submitted to the city. (see checklist BELOW for required documents and plans, the checklist is available for download below as well)
  3. Applicable fees and bonds are paid to the city.

A complete application will be assessed and a Demolition Permit will be issued within 10 working days (commencing the day after receipt). If the application is incomplete, an official request for further information will be sent to the applicantt.
