Adoption of Standing Orders Amendment
Local Law 2014

The Local Government has resolved to adopt the City of Nedlands Standing Orders Amendment Local Law 2014.

The purpose of this local law is to amend the principal City of Nedlands Standing Orders Local Law 2009. The purpose of the principal local law is to allow for the orderly conduct of meetings of the Council and Committees.

The effect of this local law is to ensure that all Council and Committee meetings are governed by the Standing Orders unless otherwise provided for in the Local Government Act 1995 or Regulations..

A copy of the current local law may be inspected at or obtained from the City’s Administration Centre, 71 Stirling Highway, Nedlands between 8.30a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, at the Nedlands and Mt Claremont Libraries and from the City’s website www.nedlands.wa.gov.au .

This local law was published in the Government Gazette on Friday 14 March 2014 and will come into operation on Friday 28 March 2014.
