Parking and Parking Facilities Local Law 2013

The Parking and Parking Facilities Local Law has been published in the Government Gazette on Wednesday 23 October 2013 and will come in to operation on Wednesday 6 November 2013.

The purpose of this local law is to regulate the parking or standing of vehicles in all or specified thoroughfares and reserves under the care, control and management of the local government and to provide for the management and operation of parking facilities.

The effect of this local law is to ensure that a person parking a vehicle within the parking region is to comply with the provisions of this local law.

A copy of the current local law may be inspected at or obtained from the City’s Administration Centre, 71 Stirling Highway, Nedlands between 8.30a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, at the Nedlands and Mt Claremont Libraries and from the City’s website nedlands.wa.gov.au.
