Our Aim 

To achieve a waste reduction target of 65 per cent by 2020, which has been set by the State Government. 

Our Approach

To seek to implement effective environmental management practices that consider the most cost-effective outcomes for our ratepayers while diverting the maximum percentage of waste from landfill. 

Our Message  

“Waste” materials are thought of in terms of a resource to be recovered, reused and recycled wherever possible.
