Local businesses

The City of Nedlands is home to an established community of more than 500 local businesses.

The City is committed to support its local businesses and recognizes the role they play in linking, sustaining and strengthening our community.

Hosting two business sundowners a year has become a tradition at the City, providing the perfect opportunity to meet with, hear about and promote the good work business people are doing. The City’s sundowners are also a relaxed networking forum to connect with the Mayor, Councillors, senior staff and other local business people.  These sundowners are held in May and November of each year.  Unfortunately, the May 2020 sundowner has been cancelled in the interests of community wellbeing and in view of the Department of Health ban on gatherings in response to COVID-19.

The City of Nedlands is a member of the Western Suburbs Business Association.

If your business has recently changed location, contact details or are a new business within the City of Nedlands, we would love to hear from you.

Many local businesses have changed the way they operate due to the enforcements created by COVID-19. Below is a list of businesses who are still operating.
