Volunteers help build a strong, compassionate and resilient community capable of meeting its own needs. The City’s services are enhanced and extended by the valuable contributions of time, skills and commitment made by volunteers.
The City of Nedlands supports volunteering through two distinct services:
Within the City as an organisation, volunteers do necessary and meaningful work that extends services and enhances the quality of life for residents. Volunteers contribute in the following areas: Nedlands Community Care, Nedlands Volunteer Resource Centre, Local Studies archives, Bushcare, Nedlands Library, Tresillian Arts Centre, Youth Advisory Council, Access Working Group and Sustainable Nedlands Committee.
