Road closure: Smyth Road and Monash Avenue intersection

Road closure: Smyth Road and Monash Avenue intersection

A section of Smyth Road in Nedlands will be closed to motorists, pedestrians and cyclists from Monday 29 April 2019 for a period of approximately four weeks.

Works are being undertaken to construct a new roundabout at the Smyth Road and Monash Avenue intersection to improve traffic safety and efficiency, particularly at peak times.

The road closure will ensure that work can be undertaken safely and with the least disturbance to road users and residents.

A number of detours will be in place around the site and local traffic access will be available for residents and property owners.

If you are a parent or carer of primary school children there will be a temporary drop-off and pick up area at the Hollywood Bowls Club car-park. Parking will also be available in alternate areas nearby for those who work in the vicinity.

Signage will be on display at the works site, advising of motorists of the road closures and detours. We thank you for your patience during this time.
