Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007

The City of Nedlands resolved at its Ordinary Meeting of Council on 27 February 2018 to adopt the City of Nedlands Waste Amendment Local Law 2017, as published in the Government Gazette on 20 April 2018.

The purpose of the local law is to provide for the regulation, control and management of activities and issues relating to waste collection, recycling, re-use and disposal within the district of the City of Nedlands.

The effect of the local law is to control activities and manage influences on waste collection, recycling, re-use and disposal within the district of the City of Nedlands.

A copy of the local law may be obtained from the City's Administration Centre, Libraries or online at our local laws page. The local law comes into operation on 4 May 2018.
