Review of Local Government Fencing Local Law

The City of Nedlands proposes to amend a local law relating to fencing, and include changes from the Western Australian Joint Standing Committee on delegated legislation.

The purpose of this local law is to provide for the regulation of fencing within the municipality.

The effect of this local law is to enable better management of issues relating to fencing within the municipality.

A copy of the current local law may be inspected at or collected from the City’s Administration Centre, 71 Stirling Highway, Nedlands between 8.30 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, at the Nedlands and Mt Claremont Libraries and from the City’s website

Submissions about the review of the local law may be made to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Nedlands, PO Box 9 Nedlands 6909 by Friday 25 February 2011.
