Graffiti 

The City will remove any graffiti that is visible from the public thoroughfare, which impacts the amenity of an area at the discretion of the City.

The City has several actions in place to address graffiti vandalism, however, crime prevention is everyone’s business, and we all have a role to play. 

What is Graffiti Vandalism?

Graffiti vandalism is all forms of graffiti defacing public or private property without the property owner’s consent. 

 

What information does the City require in a graffiti report? 

The following information will assist the City to locate and remove reported graffiti: 

  • Your name and phone number 
  • A detailed description of the graffiti location 
  • A detailed description of the graffiti or an image 
  • Any other details such as the person responsible/vehicle registration or CCTV 
  • All information is crucial to assisting the City in prosecuting graffiti vandals 

What should I do if I see graffiti elsewhere in my community?
