Draft Local Planning Policy - Precincts

Published on Friday, 7 June 2024 at 11:03:09 AM

The City of Nedlands is seeking comment on draft Local Planning Policy – Precincts.

The Policy proposes to consolidate the previously adopted Broadway, Hampden-Hollywood and Nedlands Stirling Highway Activity Corridor – Residential (NSHAC-R) Precinct Local Planning Policies (LPP) in to one Policy, with the addition of the draft Waratah Precinct LPP. The Policy seeks to provide contextually appropriate planning provisions in line with the recently gazetted Residential Design Codes. The Policy will be open for public comment until 5pm 28 June 2024.

City Officers will be available on 13 June from 4pm to 6pm in the Council Chambers at 71 Stirling Highway to answer any questions. Please note that there is no presentation at this session. It is an after-hours opportunity to speak with a City Officer about the proposal and you do not have to attend the entire time. Due to limited space, it is important that you please RSVP via the Precinct Local Planning Policy Your Voice page if you wish to attend.

Otherwise, you may contact the City’s Strategic Planning Department to discuss the proposal or arrange a separate appointment.

To comment and see all details of the proposal, please visit yourvoice.nedlands.wa.gov.au.

Copies can also be viewed at the City's Administration Building located at 71 Stirling Highway, Nedlands, WA 6009.
