Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
EV Charging Stations (Council Administration Building, Nedlands Library and Mt Claremont Community Centre) - IN PROGRESS
Update as of 5 June 2024
City of Nedlands will be installing AC type Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at four of our key operational sites. The sites include Council Administration Building, Nedlands Library, Mt Claremont Community Centre, and the City’s Depot.
The location of the bays has been selected based on feedback from stakeholders and consideration has been given regarding accessibility, security, lighting, and safety. Three of the sites will be accessible to the public as well as our future fleet vehicles, while the Depot will be exclusively used by the City for its own fleet when vehicles are acquired.
Preliminary works have commenced at some sites and may include tree pruning or lighting maintenance. Full installation and commissioning is expected to be complete by late June.
The project is still finalising some matters, with more information to be made available here over the coming weeks.
Should you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact the Project Manager, Paul Kilpa, at (08) 9273 3500 or provide your feedback online.
