The City of Nedlands is passionate about the benefits of volunteering in our community. By providing a quality Volunteer Service, governed by best practice principles, the City aims to positively impact everyone involved.  

When you volunteer with the City of Nedlands you become a valued member of our amazing team of volunteers. We will provide you with training and a safe and inclusive work environment. 

The City has a variety of volunteer roles, including at Positive Ageing, Local Studies in our libraries, Bushcare, Nedlands Library, and Tresillian Arts Centre.

Volunteer roles include being a Volunteer Driver, Local History Assistant, Activity Assistant, Tech-Help Volunteer, Book Club Facilitator, Bushcare Assistant, Books on Wheels Selector, Bus Assistant and many more!

As volunteers, your work counts. It provides positive experiences for residents and visitors and enhances their quality of life – and yours. Our volunteers promote social inclusion and well-being; and help build a resilient community.
