Elected to the City of Nedlands Council in October 2021.
Councillor Blane Brackenridge is passionate about smarter planning and considered fiscal management to ensure long-term financial security for the City, without the need to sell public assets.
He is a motivated campaigner for environmental integrity and sustainable green living with a focus on the preservation of our amenities to provide a better community for all. Councillor Brackenridge is driven by the need to obtain better design outcomes regarding infill in the Melvista Ward and developments along the Stirling Highway and Broadway precincts.
Councillor Brackenridge is a practising Architect and holds degrees in Economics and Architecture from the University of Western Australia.
He takes great pride in representing his community as a Councillor with the City of Nedlands.
