It’s never too early, or too late, to learn about and contribute to protecting our City of Nedlands’ unique natural environments!
To prove the point, Hollywood Primary School students from pre-primary to Year 6, recently joined the Friends of Hollywood Reserve to plant seedlings and trees in Hollywood Reserve.
In what is now an annual event coordinated by the Friends, the students dug in deep for our natural environment, planting more than 700 native seedlings to help support and enhance habitats for local fauna including Black Cockatoos and native bees.
Our City’s bushland conservation program relies on the invaluable support of local people of all ages, through our Friends’ groups, local school planting days and more.
Our Friends’ groups always welcome new members, or even just a few hours of your time, to support their important environmental work.
