Zonta International’s Young Women in Leadership Award recognises young women aged 16-19 who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, commitment and achievements as a volunteer.
The Award is broader in scope than in previous years and is no longer limited to volunteering at the applicant’s school or educational institution.
There is a local prize of $500.
Each Zonta district puts forward a local applicant for consideration as one of 37 international award recipients, with each of these valued at US$5000.
Applicants need to apply through the Zonta Club of Perth Inc.
