The City of Nedlands is hosting its first ever Flip Shore event!
Join us at the Nedlands Skate Park on the Esplanade, next to the Nedlands Yacht Club. Bring your bikes, scooters and skateboards and learn new skills and gain great confidence with the assistance from the Freestyle Now squad.
Kids can also enjoy the petting zoo, face painters and fairies, bouncy castles, and (most importantly) enjoy an ice-cream in the shade.
BIG-AIR WORKSHOPS
BMX / MTB bikes - 4 x 50 minute airbag jumping coaching sessions - 20 participants in each session
Scooters - 4 x 50 minute Nedlands skatepark coaching sessions - 8 participants in each session
Skateboards - 4 x 50 minute Nedlands skatepark coaching sessions - 8 participants in each session
Session 1 - 9am
Session 2 - 10am
Session 3 - 11am
Session 4 - 12pm

Do I need a ticket to attend this event?
The event is free to attend and tickets are not required to take part in the general kids activities. Registrations are required for the big-air workshops with Freestyle Now.
What are the food options?
Patrons can purchase ice-cream and other treats from Mr.Whippy!
How do I get there?
The City encourages all event attendees to walk or bike to this event if possible. Take advantage of the walking paths along the foreshore. If you are driving there is plenty of parking along the Esplanade.
Is the event suitable for all ages?
Yes, Flip Shore is a family friendly event open for people of all ages and abilities.Bouncy castles, petting zoo, face-painting and ice cream are great for everyone! The big-air workshops are suitable for kids 6 years and older, depending on ability. EVENT SAFETY
St Johns Event Health Services will be on-site for the duration of the event. For children under the age of 12 participating in any of the big-air workshops, parents are required to stay on-site for the duration of the workshop.
All participants will be required to wear a helmet.
