The City of Nedlands is thrilled to announce the return of its prestigious Emerge Youth Art Awards for the 13th consecutive year.
This highly anticipated event is the biggest in the City's youth program, drawing in talented young artists from across the state to showcase their creativity and compete for recognition. This year’s exhibition promises to be a vibrant celebration of young talent and artistic expression.
The Emerge Youth Art Awards and Exhibition offer a unique platform for artists aged 12 to 25 years to present their work to the public and be in the running for a generous prize pool of $2,250.
For the local community, the exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to immerse in the creative arts while supporting young and early-career artists.
Hosted at the beloved Tresillian Arts Centre, the exhibition is free to the public, and visitors can participate by voting for their favorite artwork in the People's Choice Award.
