In January 2025, sisters Skye and Megan McCaffrey proudly represented Surf Lifesaving WA in the prestigious World Ocean Series, competing in the Manly Open Surf Classic in NSW, and at the iconic Maroochy Classic on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Skye and Megan have been passionate about surf lifesaving from a young age, having been involved with their local surf lifesaving club since they were just six years old. Over the years, they have dedicated countless hours to patrolling local beaches and serving their community. Their commitment to both competition and community is an inspiration to us all.
The City of Nedlands is proud to support these talented young athletes and looks forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the future. Congratulations Skye and Megan!
