Declaration of filling extraordinary vacancy without extraordinary election

Local Government (Elections) Regulations 1997, r. 87A

In accordance with Schedule 4.1A of the Local Government Act 1995 (WA) it was declared that, following the resignation of Hollywood Ward Councillor Leo McManus effective from 1 June 2024, the extraordinary vacancy for the office of Councillor has been filled by Melanie Pollard, with a term ending on 18 October 2025.
